EMPA
EMPA conducts research in the area of innovative structural and functional materials and develops and evaluates products. Its programs in the fields of nanotechnology, adaptive materials systems, technosphere-atmosphere, human health, and materials for energy technologies are significant advancements in the organization’s transition from the former Federal Materials Testing Institute to today’s internationally recognized research institute.

Swiss Federal Institute for Forest, Snow and Landscape Research
