We are proud to celebrate an important milestone in the evolution of the network!

A new SAAN Constitution has been formally ratified on the 11th of June 2026 and is available on the SAAN website dedicated page. Read the new constitution here. 

This new governance framework marks the beginning of an exciting new phase for SAAN. It establishes a strengthened national structure while creating State Chapters across Australia, enabling members to connect, collaborate, and organize activities at the local level while remaining part of a strong national network.

As part of this process, we are now inviting Swiss and Australian academics, researchers, innovators, and professionals interested in Swiss-Australian collaboration to join SAAN and help establish their local State Chapter.  Each Chapter is hence responsible for nominating a representative who will serve on the SAAN National Board, ensuring that local perspectives contribute directly to the national direction of the network.
